Wilmer Kerr

Wilmer L Kerr, 87 of Pennsburg, formerly of Sellersvile, died Tuesday, August. 30th at Pennsburg Manor. He was the husband of Esther (Souder) Kerr and the late Rachel Kerr. He was the son of the late Eugene and Martha (Landes) Kerr. He was a farmer until 1968, then became a truck driver for many years as an owner and operator until 2010. Surviving with his wife are daughters, Linda Rittenhouse, husband Thomas of Sellersville and Julie Venizale, husband Carmen of Quakertown; son, Rodney Kerr, wife Betty of Harleysville; step daughter, Donna Decoteau; grandchildren, Shawn, Aaron, Cory, Jared, Josh, Rachel and Tory; step grandchildren, Michael and Austin; five great grandchildren; brother, James, wife Kay of Duncannon; sisters, Grace Hall of Chambersburg, and Mae Alderfer, husband Stanley of Sellersvile; sister in law, Blanche Kerr. He was predeceased by a brother, Lloyd. Services will be held 7:00 PM Wednesday, September 7th at Community Baptist Church, 50 E. Paletown Rd., Quakertown. A calling will precede the service from 6:00-7:00 PM. Memorial contributions can be made to the Community Baptist Church Building Fund.
