Willis Henry "Bill" Sherick, Jr., age 90, died at his home in Philadelphia. Born Feb. 3, 1930, in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Willis H., Sr. and Viola (Stevenson) Sherick. Bill served his country with distinction in the United States Air Force during the Korean War from 1951 to 1955. He resided in Willow Grove until 1974, when he moved to center city, Philadelphia. He worked in the media department at advertising agency N.W. Ayer for over 25 years. After that, he worked for several different banks. Bill is survived by: nieces Jeanne Faux (husband Brian), and Barbara Paucke (husband George); great-nieces Jessica Palm and Jennifer Allison; great-nephews Matthew Faux and Cody Reigle; great-great-nephews Nicholas Palm and Haden Allison. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by: brothers Robert and Edwin Sherick; niece Karen Reigle; and great-nephew Neal Paucke. Interment is held at 12:00 PM on Mon.
