William E. McNair, 90, of Quakertown, died Mon., July 18th in Phoebe Richland Health Care Center, Richlandtown. He was the husband of the late Lillian (Harrington) McNair. He was a metal polisher for U.S. Gauge, Division of Ametek, Inc., Sellersville, for 35 years before retiring in 1985. Born in Richlandtown, he was the son of the late G. Russell and Sallie B. (Horn) McNair. William served with the U.S. Navy during WW II. He was a lifetime member of the Wallace Willard Keller American Legion Post 242 and the Forrest Lodge VFW. He was a life member of West End Fire Co, Quakertown where he served with the fire police, a life member of the Bucks Co. Fire Police & Fireman's Assoc., and a member of the Great Swamp Fish & Game. Surviving: brother, George R. of Quakertown; nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by son, George F. and sister, Dorothy. Services will be held 11:00 am Sat., July 23 at Jeffrey A.
