William Edward "Bill" Hance, II., age 56, of Quakertown, died Sun. Feb. 7, 2021, at St. Luke's Hospital Upper Bucks Campus. Born June 6, 1964, in Quakertown, he was the son of Lucille (Smith) Hance and the late William Edward Hance, and the husband of Nancy (Kennedy) Hance, to whom he was married 33 years. To say Bill loved life would be an understatement. He approached everything with a smile and a loving heart. He was always the first to offer help to anyone and everyone. Being the joyous, caring person that he was, He made long lasting friendships and bonds with so many people. His generosity knew no bounds. Most recently, he joined "The Great Cycle Challenge". In which, he was riding his bicycle to raise money for the Children's Cancer Research Fund. Family meant everything to him. Foremost he was a caring and loving husband and father. He loved to get together with family any chance he could. You could always see his face light up when telling stories and just enjoying the company of his large family. Bill filled his life with many things and hobbies alike. Just to name a few: outdoors, bike riding, air shows, kite festivals, Automotive races (Indy car, Formula 1, MotoGP, etc.), slot car racing and competitions, movies, photography, cars and motorcycles, woodworking and furniture, and gardening. He also loved to combine these activities with family and friends. Kayaking with the family was always a go to. He also combined his love of woodworking into his career working for Knoll, Inc for more than 20 years. He started working in the wood shop to which he became the Supervisor. In addition to his wife and mother, Bill is survived by: son William Edward Hance, III. (fiancé Victoria Smith); sister Beth Anne Arnold (husband Craig); stepfather Donald Gehman, Sr.; stepbrothers Donald Gehman, Jr, Delvine Gehman, Douglas Gehman, and Dale Gehman (wife Lisa). In addition to his father, Bill is preceded in death by brother Thomas A. Hance. A public calling hour will be held from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Mon. Feb. 15, 2021, at Naugle Funeral and Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Rd., Quakertown. **The wearing of masks is required, and all current health and safety guidelines will be observed.** Services and interment will be private.
