Wiiliam D. Allison, 69, of Sellersville, died Thurs. June 6, in Wellsboro. He was the loving companion of Candy (Booth) Cuneo and husband of the late Margaret (Shedal) Allison. He was owner of the former Allison Wholesale Foods, Sellersville, for over 35 years. After selling his company, he worked for over 10 years at the Home Depot, Montgomeryville until retiring in 2009. He was a 1969 graduate of Pennridge High School. Bill was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying nature's best from his summer home in Delaware to the hunting club in Wellsboro. He spent many enjoyable hours gardening, fishing, hunting and golfing and shared his skills in each graciously with his grandchildren. Born in Quakertown, he was the son of Willard D. Allison, Quakertown and the late Pauline (Tamaski) Allison. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Ridge Valley, the North Penn Gun Club, Great Swamp Fish & Game, Sellersville Moose, D&D Hunting Club of Wellsboro, and the NRA. Surviving with his loving companion and father, are daughters Donna Spangenberg, Coopersburg & Sherri Grant, Milford, Michigan; brother, Eric, wife Karen, Quakertown; sisters Linda Horne, husband John, Macungie & Nancy Esposito, Perkasie; grandchildren Alicia Schuebel, Brandy Spangenberg, Stephen Cuneo III, Reed Spangenberg, Owen Spangenberg, & Angela Cuneo; numerous nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his step-mother, Mae (Hummelwright) Bergey Allison. Funeral service will be held 7 Pm Wed., June 12, in St. John's Lutheran Church, Ridge Valley. Family and friends are invited to call at the church 5 - 7 PM. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to St. John's Lutheran Church, 910 Allentown Rd., Sellersville, Pa 18960. The Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, Quakertown is handling arrangements.
