Wendy (Chi) Walling passed away in the evening of March 6th, 2018. Chi was born on August 21st, 1946 to Charls Lerner and Elizabeth Ludwick. She grew up in Forked River, New Jersey, and quickly developed a love of animals and nature. Chi was a sharp, quick-witted, but very compassionate woman. She adored all animals, and was a strong advocate for anyone without a voice. She was a well-esteemed dog breeder and was a local expert on all things terrier. The more time you spent with her, the more you were enthralled by her life stories and infinite wisdom. Chi's deepest love was creating and running Lone Star Farm in Quakertown. During her twenty-two years running the farm, Chi met hundreds of horses and people. She became a mentor to the cowboys & cowgirls working and boarding in her stables. Lone Star Farm was Chi's home, the place she felt most like herself. Chi is preceded in death by her mother and father. She is survived by her sister Karen (Michael) Moretti and three daughters: Lisa (Paul III) Travis, Monique Haldeman, and Samona Davis. She is also survived by her fourteen grandchildren: Wyatt, Shelby, Sydney, Rachel, Charlene, Andrea (Victor), Andrew, Stephen (Amy), Ryan (Brittany), Nicholas, Daisha, Anthony, Brittany (Mark), Frankie and her nineteen great-grandchildren: Monique, Annesa, Chantell, Brianna, Derrick, Emma, Dominic, Giavona, Jasmine, Sincere, Veronica, Victor, Crystal, Joshua, Aubrey, Camran, Adeline, Leilana, and Brendan. In the coming weeks, the family will be hosting a Celebration of Chi's Life at Lone Star Farm. Details will be announced as the weather becomes warmer.
