Wayne Marks

Wayne E. Marks, age 79, of Quakertown, PA died Saturday September 14, 2019 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Carol Harmer Marks, with whom he shared 59 years of marriage. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late James G. Marks and the late Lavinia Ellis Marks. Wayne was a machinist in the telecommunications industry. For over 43 years he worked for Western Electric/AT&T/Alcatel-Lucent. A devoted father, Wayne enjoyed spending time with family above all else. He also enjoyed raising cactuses and going on cruises with his wife. In addition to his wife Carol, Wayne is survived by three sons, David and his wife Charlotte of Center Valley, PA, Steve and his wife Kelly of Souderton, PA, and James and his wife Jeanine of Thornton, PA; one brother, James G. Marks and his wife Joyce of Hershey, PA; 14 grandchildren, Lauren, Daniel, Shauna, Sarah, Alexandre, Christopher, Keith, David, Anna, Jose, Devon, Danielle, Cameron, and Casey; and 8 great-grandchildren, Connor, Liam, Jaxon, Joshua, Jacob, Nathaniel, Noah and Charlotte.
