Walter A. "Walt" Frederick, 78, of Quakertown, died Fri, Feb. 21 in his home. He was the husband of Sandra (Blough) Frederick. The couple celebrated 55 years of marriage in Nov. He worked 30 yrs. for Ford Electronics, Lansdale as an electronic technician prior to retirement. He served with the US Army during the Korean War. Born in Zion Hill, he was the son of the late Charles and Mildred (Stettler) Frederick. He was a member of American Legion Post 242 honor guard, Cloverleaf Archery Club and Ridge Valley Rod & Gun Club. Walt enjoyed hunting and collecting model tractors. Surviving with his wife are their daughters Cynthia Frederick, husband Ron Henning, Lansdale, Holly Geiger, husband Stanley, and Jill Kosalek, husband David, Coopersburg, brother, Vernon, wife Irene, Macungie, grandchildren, Joseph and Jennifer and great-grandchildren, Izabelle and Joseph. She was preceded in death by sister Florence Brey. Service will be held 11:00 am, Wed. Feb., 26 in Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Rd., Quakertown. Call Tues. Feb 25, 6-8 pm Wed., 10-11am. Interment in Zion Hill Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to American Legion Post 242, 610 E. Broad St., Quakertown, Pennsylvania 18951.
