Violet Landes

Violet R. Landes, 96, formerly of Quakertown, passed away December 16, 2021.  Born in Norristown in 1925, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Helen (Rosenberger) Unruh.  She was the widow of Mr. Harold Landes, with whom she shared 57 years of marriage before his death in 2000.

Violet worked for many years as a nurse in several different capacities, most recently, at the former Quakertown Manor, Quakertown, PA.  Violet was also a long-time, active member at Saucon Mennonite Church, Coopersburg, PA, where she was a Sunday School and Bible School Teacher.

Violet is survived by children, Rose Moyer (Lowell) of Telford, and David Landes (Darlene) of Bath, Deborah Negley (Lowell) of Souderton, PA, grandchildren Gina, Michael, Matthew, Kimberly, Scott, Lydia, Luke, Daniel, Rebekah, James, 10 great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held December 28, 2021, at Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Rd. Quakertown, PA, 18951, at 11:00 AM. A Viewing will be held from 10-11, prior to the service. Burial will follow at East Swamp Cemetery
