Valeria Urffer

Valeria M. Urffer, 74, of Macungie, died Sun, Dec. 18 at her home. She was the wife of the late Charles H. Urffer, Jr. Born in Quakertown, she was a daughter of the late John Russell and Helen (Garis) Crouthamel. She worked for the former Laminated Glass Co., Telford; and previously AT&T, Allentown before retiring in 1999. She was a member of Chestnut Hill UCC, Coopersburg; and Calypso Chapter 163, Order of the Eastern Star, Bethlehem. Surviving, daughters: Judy Calhoun (James) and Ruth Rivera (Hector, Jr.); grandchildren: Randy, Heather and Cheyenne; siblings: Russell (Dolores), Mark (Helen), Barry (Gail), James (Karen), Dennis (Cecilia), Terry (Diane), Anna Breiner, Christine Kulp, Donna Bright and Linda Nesfeder. She was predeceased by brothers, William and Richard; and sisters, Barbara Feddock, Margaret Anders, Pauline Kemmerer, and Gloria Gruver Services will be held 1 p.m. Sat, Jan. 7 in Chestnut Hill UCC, 6870 Chestnut Hill Church Road, Coopersburg.
