Thomas Gallagher

Thomas Francis Gallagher, age 93, of Quakertown, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Wednesday January 6, 2021 at the home of his son in Quakertown where he lived for the past 5 years. He was the husband of the late Frances Bernice Towey Gallagher who died in 1966 and the late Anne Ferry Gallagher who died in 2010. Born in Philadelphia, PA he was a son of the late James Gallagher and the late Bessie Jordan Gallagher. He grew up on Ringgold Street in Philadelphia with his sister Anne and brothers Jim, Joe, and John. Tom served our country in the Army and later retired from Elkins Park Post office after forty years of service. Survivors include two daughters, Margaret McGinley and her husband Ed and Frances MacMinn; three sons, Michael Gallagher and his wife Lynn, Daniel Gallagher and his wife Terri and Stephen Gallagher and his wife Lori and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to his wives, he was predeceased by one son, Thomas Patrick Gallagher; one daughter, Mary Ellen Gallagher Reilly, and his son in law Bob MacMinn.
