Theodore B. "Ted" Penrose, 91, Allentown, previously of Quakertown died Wed., Dec. 15 in Westminster Village. He was the husband of Thelma (Morder) Penrose. They were married for 65 years last January. Born in Quakertown, he was the son of the late Evan and Lillie (Server) Penrose. He worked for the former R.M. Taylor Co., Quakertown in sales and production for over 30 years before retiring in 1981. Previously, he worked at F.L. Tarantino's Monument Co., Quakertown for 10 years. He graduated from Quakertown High School, Class of 1937 and served with the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a member of First United Church of Christ, Quakertown having served on the council. Surviving with his wife, sons, Larry; Ron and wife Nancy all of Allentown; granddaughter, Denise Meila and husband Jeff; grandson, Jason; sister, Kathryn Hammel of Applebachsville. Funeral services will be held Fri., Dec. 17 in the Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W.
