Tani L. Khabbaz, 52, of Springfield Twp., Bucks Co., joined the spirit world on Tues. May 7 in her home surrounded by family. Born in Northampton, MA, she was the daughter of Samir & Shirley (Dean) Khabbaz, with whom she resided. She was a descendant of Native American Cherokee & Apache, Palestinian, & Anglo-Saxon blood lines. Tani was a self - employed counselor and composer/singer. She composed and sang for numerous bands, most recently "Beats Workin'. A diverse musical talent, she could perform AC/DC to Patsy Kline. She was an extremely skilled in crafts. Tani possessed a sweet and kind personality living without anger. She was a participant in the Unity Church of the Lehigh Valley and member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Surviving with her parents, a daughter, Tashina, who resided with her, brother Dar, sister-in-law Donna Khabbaz, nephew Daniel, and niece Christine. Her brother, Brian, had previously entered the spirit world. The family is holding a four day wake at their home with guests welcome any day or hour culminating in a Native American prayer service Sun. May 12 at 10 AM.
