Susan died on November 9, 2024 losing a battle with brain and lung cancer. She is survived by her husband of thirty-eight years, Dennis F. Killeen, three step-children: Kathleen Killeen Klimowicz, Theresa Killeen, John B. Killeen (Jessica); four step-grandchildren: Michael, Matthew, Alaina, Austin; sisters Maryellen Detweiler (her twin), Barbara Heckler, brothers Paul and John.
Susan was born to Paul R. Kasmer and Helen Kasmer (Semenoff) on December 25, 1960. She attended Hatboro-Horsham High School and then Maxwell Institute for computer programming. She had a thirty-five-year successful career as computer program for large corporations, the Department of Defense and her own company. Susan was an avid gardener, golfer and skier. Susan enjoyed nature and all that it provides. Susan was curious and adventurous and a free spirit. Her laughter and sense of fun was catching to all who knew her.
Susan had strong commitment to the community. She volunteered with the Bucks County Housing Group to rehabilitate the women's shelter in Milford Square. Susan was responsible for the landscaping design and planting. She also made 1000's of pierogies to raise funds for the shelter. She also assisted in the Xmas Toy Collection for the children in the shelter.
Susan was especially proud of her contribution and support of Lily's Hope Foundation - again 1000's of pierogies. Several attendees of the annual golfing event looked forward to her bringing her "golf juice" to kick off the event.
In lieu of flowers, Susan would appreciate a donation to Lily's Hope Foundation.org.
