Stuart Hutchinson Jr.

Stuart B. Hutchinson, Jr., 85, of Bethlehem, formerly of Springfield Twp., died Sun. Jan. 28 in his home. He was the husband of the late Louise (Mendenhall) Hutchinson. Born in Chestnut Hill, he was a son of the late Stuart B, Sr. and Evelyn (Nelson) Hutchinson. Stu graduated from Doylestown High School in 1950 and attended Penn State. He served with the US Army during the Korean War. He retired as a vice president of the former Lehigh Structural Steel Co., Bethlehem in 1992. Previously, he worked over 25 years for the former Bethlehem Fabrications, Inc. He was a past president of the Jr. Achievement of the Lehigh Valley and a member of the Bethlehem Jaycees and Sales & Marketing Club, Bethlehem. He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, Bethlehem. Surviving are his daughters, Bonny Becker, her husband John of Flemington, NJ and Jill Weaver, her husband Peter of Coopersburg; grandchildren Mark, Bryan, Ryan, Justin, Brandi, & Brielle; great-grandchildren Emma, Lylah, Liz, Harper, & Haylee; brother Douglas, wife Dee of Quakertown; and numerous cousins, nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be held Sat. Feb. 3, 11 am in the Naugle Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 W. Pumping Station Rd., Quakertown. Family & friends may call at the funeral home Fri. evening Feb. 2, 6-8 pm.
