Starr Stauffer

Starr E. Stauffer, 78, of Quakertown died Saturday, Aug. 14 in St. Luke's VNA Hospice House, Bethlehem. She was the wife of Zane Stauffer. They celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary in May. Born in Passer, PA she was a daughter of the late Norman and Helen (Mease) Beck. She graduated from Quakertown High School in 1949 and attended Lansdale Business School. She was a member of First United Church of Christ, Quakertown and had served as church organist for St. Matthew's Kellers Church for nearly 30 years. Her passion was caring for her grandchildren who she loved dearly. Surviving with husband, son Glenn, wife Sandra; daughter Lynn Routson, husband Robert all of Quakertown; granchildren, Meredith, Melissa, Madeleine, the late Dustin; four step-grandchildren, Stephen, Shana, Brook, Sessa. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, August 21 at First United Church of Christ, Quakertown. Call: 9:00-10:30 am Saturday in the church. Interment: Zion Hill Cemetery. Jeffrey A.
