Stanley Howard Schoch

Stanley “Stan” Howard Schoch, 95, of Quakertown, PA, passed away on October 17th, 2023, at Independence Court. Born in Quakertown, PA, he was the son of the late Stanley Schoch, the late Margaret Fishburn, and the stepson of the late Eleanore Schoch. Stan was predeceased by his wife, Joyce Ann Schoch, together they shared 61 years of marriage. Joyce and Stan both passed away on October 17th, exactly eight years apart from each other. 

Stan graduated from Quakertown High School in 1947. While attending Quakertown High School, he made it into the Hall of Fame for his athleticism. After High School, Stan proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He then went on to work for W.M Moyer and then an insurance agent for Prudential Insurance, where he eventually retired from. Stan was the President and Coach for Quakertown Little League. Stan also served on Quakertown Borough Council for many years. In his free time, Stan enjoyed playing golf, watching Philadelphia sports, and fixing things around the house. Above all, Stan’s greatest pleasure in life was spending time with his family and friends. 

Stan will be dearly missed by his children, John Schoch (Debbie), Lynda Schoch (Robert), and Brenda Landis; his grandchildren, Sean Burke (Julie), Zach Schoch (Carly), and Madison Lick (Stephen); and his great-grandchildren, Tilghman Lick and Sokol Burke.

All are invited to visit with Stan’s family on October 25th, 2023, from 10:00AM ~ 11:00AM located at Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, Ltd. 135 W. Pumping Station Road, Quakertown, PA, 18951. (215-536-3343) A memorial service will begin at 11:00AM. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Stan’s name to the Wounded Warrior Project.
