Shari Lynn Orzehoski, age 52, of Quakertown passed away on Friday, September 12th at her home surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of Scott Orzehoski. Born in Quakertown on April 7th, 1962, she was the daughter of Gerald and Barbara (Horne) Hillegass. Shari was a loving and caring mother of three sons, Michael Jarrell, Jacob Jarrell, and Eric Orzehoski, all of Quakertown. Surviving with her husband, parents, and sons are brothers Scott Hillegass and Gary Hillegass, wife Cindy; sisters Debbie Glick, husband Jim and Kathy Latham, husband Howard; brother-in-law Frank Orzehoski, wife Michele; many nieces and nephews. Shari graduated from Quakertown High School with the class of 1980 and attended West Chester University. She worked at QNB Bank for 27 years before retiring in 2006 due to her illness. She was an incredible person who loved spending time with her family and friends. Shari took pride in her beautiful flower gardens and always played an active role in her children's activities. Most recently she was the manager of her youngest son's hockey team, the Hatfield Ice Dogs. She was a beacon of hope, a friend to all, and an inspiration to everyone she met. Shari was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of Quakertown. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 17th from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W Pumping Station Rd, Quakertown, as well as on Thursday, September 18th from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 102 N Hellertown Ave, Quakertown. A funeral service celebrating her life will follow at the church, beginning at 11:00 AM, followed by internment in Trinity Great Swamp Cemetery, Spinnerstown.
