Scott R. Andreas

Scott Robert Andreas, 65, of Catasauqua, passed away at his home on October 18, 2023. He was born in Northampton on April 29, 1958 to the late Lawrence and Lillian (Kosman) Andreas. Scott was a US Air Force veteran. For over 20 years he was an integral part of Andreas Home Improvements in Northampton. He would often stress the importance of quality work and take great pride in his carpentry. Scott went into commercial construction at the conclusion of the family business. Any time he wasn't working he wanted to be hunting. His biggest frustration with his more recent health issues was that it often kept him out of the woods. Some favorite hunting and fishing destinations included Quebec, Montana, and Chincoteague. He was also a regular bowler at the Northampton Liederkranz for many years.

Scott is survived by his son Nick (Jennie Hoose) Andreas; siblings Linda (Ronnie) Greenzweig and Eric (Evelyn) Andreas; and many other loving family and friends, many of which he hunted with at one point or another.

Per his wishes, there will be no formal services for Scott, but he will surely be remembered at the usual family picnic in 2024. 

Scott always fondly recalled Misty Girl, his yellow lab gone now for 20+ years, and would regularly talk about maybe getting another dog. With that in mind we ask that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Scott's memory can be made to the Bucks County SPCA to help animals in need find loving homes, or alternatively to sportsman charity of your choice.
