Ruth Tompkins

Ruth A. Stuart-Tompkins, 91, of Quakertown passed away Mon. Mar. 10 in Genesis Quakertown Center. She was the wife of the late George V. Stuart and the late Paul Tompkins. She was the daughter of the late Homer and Rosa (Hess) Wentz, of Quakertown. Ruth worked at Sine's 5&10, A&P Tea Co. as a meat wrapper, and retired from Benetz Inn as a food prep. She is survived by her two sons, George D., wife Rosemarie, and Patrick, wife Debra, both of Quakertown; two granddaughters, Rebecca Mucklow, husband Brett, of Aston, and Jessica Shirk, husband Todd, of Allentown; four great grandchildren, Molly Ann and Margaret (Maggie) Mucklow and Carter and Samantha Shirk; and last but not least, her beloved cat, Sugar. Services are private. Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family with arrangements.
