Ruth Knauss

Ruth W. Knauss, 88, of Quakertown, died Sunday in the Hospice House of the VNA of St. Luke's. She was the loving wife of Donald T. Knauss for the past 67 years. Born in Richland Twp., she was the youngest of eight children born to the late Charles and Harriet (Hendricks) Willauer. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, Perkasie and was a graduate of Quakertown High School, class of 1943. Surviving with her husband, daughter Sue Minarik, husband Perry, of Quakertown, 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren and daughter-in-law, Barbara Knauss. She was predeceased by her son, E. William. Funeral services will be held 1:30 Pm Thursday, May 2, in Peace Lutheran Church, Perkasie. Interment in Quakertown Union Cemetery. Call at the church 12:30 - 1:30 pm.
