Ruth Cressman

Ruth L. Cressman, 90, of Quakertown, died Sat. May 24th in LifeQuest Nursing Center. She was the wife of the late Richard S. Cressman. Born in Quakertown, she was a daughter of the late Russel and Lydia (Weber) Swartz. Ruth was a member of First United Church of Christ Quakertown where she taught Sunday School for many years. She was also a member of Ladies Legion Auxiliary Post 242. Surviving are her sons, Richard, with Kathleen, Pittsburgh, Dr. Michael, wife Felise, Chester, CT; daughter, Linda Fargus, husband James Overland Park, KS; grandchildren Justin Fargus, Jamie Fargus Harper and Amanda Cressman Kefal; great-grandchildren Ruthie and Richie Harper; brother Russel Swartz. Services will be held 11:00 AM, Thurs. May 29th, at First United Church of Christ 151 S. 4TH Street, Quakertown. Call from 10-11am in the church. Interment in Quakertown Union Cemetery. Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorial Contributions may be made to the church.
