Russell Brigham

Russell John Brigham, age 64, of Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, passed away on May 22, 2021, at St. Luke's University Hospital in Bethlehem, PA. He was the husband of Karen Brigham, with whom he shared 45 years of marriage.

Born in Waterville, Maine, he was the son of the late Kenneth Brigham, Sr. and the late Janice Bloomer Brigham. Russell graduated from The University of Maine at Orono with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and later earned his Masters in Business Administration from The University of Phoenix. He served our country in the Marines during peacetime.

Russell was a Professional Engineer, working as a facilities director for several companies over the span of his career including Sanofi Pasteur, Fairchild Semiconductor, and finally South Portland School District. Russell loved building things and was naturally very handy. He loved the ocean, boating, sailing, and downhill skiing.

In addition to his wife Karen, he is survived by one son, Robert Brigham II and his wife Jennifer Brigham of Coopersburg, PA; one daughter, Jamie Brigham of Pennsburg, PA; two brothers, Kenneth Brigham Jr. and his wife Laurie Brigham of Yarmouth, ME, and Marc Brigham and his wife Christine Brigham of Wilmington NC; as well as three grandchildren, Robert Brigham III, Matthew Brigham, and Joseph Defeo Jr. Services and interment will be held privately.
