Rose Souder

Rose Catherine (nee Fetzer) aged 99 years, 8 months and 15 days, died peacefully on September 4, 2015 at her home in Sellersville. She was the beloved mother and mother-in-law of Rose Marie (Souder) LePosa and her husband Joseph L. LePosa of Sellersville. Born on December 20, 1915 in Scranton, Rose was the daughter of William and Catherine (Reach) Fetzer, and was preceded in death by her brother Henry Patrick Fetzer of Philadelphia. She and her parents re-located to Quakertown in the 1940s. Rose was a long-time member of the former Quakertown Assembly of God Church, and during her lifetime was part of the congregations of Lighthouse Tabernacle, Pennsburg; the former Sunshine Evangelical Church, Quakertown; Silverdale Brethren in Christ; and Christ Reformed Church at Indian Creek, Telford. She was a current member of St. Peter's Covenant Church, Hilltown. A Service of Remembrance will be held at St. Peter's Covenant Church, 1006 Hilltown Pike, Hilltown, PA on September 12th at 11am, with a calling time from 10am-11am.
