Rose Marie Nase, 79 of Hazleton, formerly of Quakertown, died Thurs. Feb. 25th at Butler Valley Manor in Drums, PA. She was the beloved wife of the late Melvin B. Nase. Born in Quakertown, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth and Sophie (Andrzijwoska) Fluck. Rose was a homemaker who loved to bake, and an animal lover who pampered her pets. She was a great mother and a faithful member of St. Isidore's Catholic Church. Surviving are her sons, Edward and wife Lois of Lancaster, and James and wife Michaeline of Beaver Meadows; grandchildren Ashley Highland and husband Ben, Christopher Nase and fiancée Shanea, Douglas Nase and wife Anna, and Victoria Nase; great grandchildren Eva Mae, Tanner, and Kasey; step-grandchildren TJ, Marcia, and Michael; thirteen step-great grandchildren; brother Kenneth Fluck of Quakertown; sister Lorraine Steinhauer of Dallas, PA; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by a son, Christopher. Services will be held 10:30 AM Wed. Mar. 2nd at St. Isidore's Catholic Church, 2545 W. Pumping Station Rd, Quakertown. A calling hour will precede the service from 9:30-10:30 AM at the church. Interment will follow at St. Isidore's Catholic Cemetery.
