Roger Benner

Roger B. "Louie" Benner, 74, of Coopersburg, passed away Sat., March 4, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Quakertown, he was a son of the late Donald L. and Beatrice F. (Crouthamel) Benner of Richlandtown. Roger was a retired truck driver for Alderfer Meats, and currently worked part-time for Cetronia Ambulance Corps. He was a past member of both the Coopersburg Ambulance Corps and the Coopersburg Fire Co. and its social quarters for many years. Surviving is his wife of 53 years, Kathryn "Kathie" (Brown) Benner; son Gregory and his fiancée Linda of Morrisville; daughter Krista of Coopersburg; grandchildren: Brandon and his fiancée Heather of Macungie; Samantha and Patrick, both of Philadelphia; great-grandchildren Bryson and Bailey of Macungie; his loving and faithful dogs Tonka, Laci, Destiny and Aspen; and granddogs Leyna and Paityn. He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard L. and a sister, Donna L. Weisel. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
