Rodney Blanks

Rodney Blanks, Sr., 82, of Quakertown died Sun. May 10 in his home. Born in the Bronx, Rodney was a son of the late Leonard and Beatrice (Farr) Blanks. He was the loving husband of Leah (Bishop) Blanks for the past 59 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post 242, and he was an active outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family and buddies. In addition to his wife, Rodney is survived by sons Rodney, Jr., Keith and wife Sharon, Garth and wife Lisa, and Kim; daughter Helen; brothers Robert and Theodore; sisters Marie and Cherry; nine grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his brothers Leonard and Alan. Funeral services will be held at 12 PM Thurs. May 14 in Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Rd., Quakertown.
