Robert Ronald Walz

Robert “Bob” Ronald Walz, 82, of Coopersburg, PA, passed into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 1st, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Cedar Crest Hospital. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Bob was the son of the late John Walz and the late Ruth (Moore) Walz.

Bob attended Olney High School and graduated in January 1960. After High School, Bob dedicated his life to serving his country. He joined the United States Navy in February 1960 and served for four years. After his service time, Bob began working for PNC Bank as a Teller and worked his way up to Branch Manager. He retired from PNC in February 1998. 

His passion for life extended well beyond his professional endeavors. In his free time, Bob enjoyed gardening, reading, and his grandchildren and later his great-grandchildren. He was an active member of Grace Bible Fellowship Church for forty-nine years. 

Above all else, Bob loved his family deeply and cherished the time spent with them. 

Bob will be dearly missed by his wife, Elaine Walz, together they shared sixty-three loving years of marriage; his children, Ronald (Rebecca) and Bryan; his grandchildren, Cassandra (Kevin), Aaron, Bradley (Melinda), Nicole (Tony); his great-grandchildren, Kinzley, Arista, Layla, Olivia, and Brielle; along with other extended family members and friends. Bob is predeceased by his parents, John and Ruth, his brother, John, and sister-in-law, Charlotte, his brother, Charles, and his sister-in-law, Martha. 

All are invited to visit with Bob’s family on Saturday, October 12th, from 9:30 ~ 11:00AM, at Grace Bible Fellowship Church, located at 1811 N. Old Bethlehem Pike, Quakertown, PA 18951. A funeral service will begin at 11:00AM. Bob’s burial will take place privately on Thursday, October 10th at Upper Milford Mennonite Church. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Bob’s name to Grace Bible Fellowship Church.
