Robert Tarantino

Robert J. Tarantino, 65, of Quakertown, died peacefully with his wife and daughter by his side Wed., Sept. 28, 2011, at St. Luke's Hospital, Quakertown, after battling a long illness. He was the husband of Judy (Dietrich) Tarantino. They were married for 42 years in June. Born in Richmond, VA he was a son of the late Raymond and Harriet (Miller) Tarantino. He graduated from Quakertown High School in 1963. Bob was a manager at the former Willie's Oil and Jobsite Concrete, Quakertown for a number of years before retiring. He was a life member and had served as past chief and past president at Shelly Fire Co. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed Phillies, Eagles and Nascar. Surviving with wife, daughter, Lisa Tarantino-Johnson, husband Joseph III of Quakertown; grandson, Chase Robert Johnson. Funeral service will be held 11:00 am Wed, Oct. 5 in the Jeffrey A.
