Robert Shinn

Robert Shinn, 66, of Richlandtown, died Fri. Apr. 24 in Grand View Hospital. He was loving husband of Trudy (Ziegenfuss) Shinn for the past 19 years. Born in Philadelphia, PA he was a son of Jacqueline (Destout) and the late Stanley Shinn. Robert was an Air Force veteran; after his honorable discharge, he worked in construction as a surveyor and estimator. He also spent two years as a school bus driver for Levy Bus Co. Surviving with his wife and mother are daughters Lisa Klitsch, husband Michael, children Andrew and Nathan, of Trumbauersville and Jennifer Muller, husband Steve, children Ben, Joe, Becca, and Sarah, of Lititz; step-son Thomas Hontz, wife Lori, children Chase, Ty, and Zoe, of Royersford; brother, Thomas Shinn of Elizabethtown; sisters L. Divya Botkin of Gil, MA, and Susan Broome of Birdsboro; nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Thurs. April 30 at 7:30 pm in the Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Rd., Quakertown. Family & friends are invited to call at the funeral home Thurs. April 30 from 6 - 7:30 PM. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
