Robert Scheetz

Robert J. Scheetz, 83, of Quakertown passed away at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Born in 1938, he was the son of the late Robert H. and Margaret (Freeman) Scheetz.  He was the loving husband of Patricia B. (Bacorn) Scheetz, with whom he shared 56 years of marriage.

Robert earned his BSE from Drexel University, Philadelphia, PA.  He then worked as an electronic engineer, where he proudly worked on the Apollo Space Mission, where his work was patented. He then worked for many years as a builder, before starting his business, Scheetz & Scheetz General Rental, Quakertown, PA.

Bob was always an engineer at heart, and loved fixing things and explaining how they worked.  He also loved helping others, and teaching people anything he could. In his spare time, Bob also enjoyed flying model air planes and was an original member of the Buc-Le Aerosports Club, Quakertown, PA, Above all, he loved being a hard worker and took great pride in providing for his family.

Survived by Wife, Patricia, children Heather Snow, Adam Scheetz, Ryan Scheetz, grandchildren, Andrew and Zachary Snow.  He was predeceased by sister Joan Finkbeiner.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.   Arrangements are by Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, Ltd.
