Robert J. Emert, 54, of Sellersville, formerly of Philipsburg, NJ died Tues. Nov. 1st at Grand View Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Ida (Davis) Emert for the past 33 years. Born in Sellersville, he was a son of Clara (Widmann) and the late F. Richard Emert. He was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church. Bob was the Wizard of IT at Grand View Hospital for 23 years. He was a former Scout Leader for Scout Troop 56 in Pohatcong Twp., NJ. Bob was a woodworker by hobby, and he also enjoyed gardening, SCUBA diving, golfing, skeet shooting, and spending time with his family. With his wife and mother, he is survived by son Robert Emert, Jr. and girlfriend Heather of Northampton; daughter Colleen Emert and boyfriend Jon of Sellersville; granddaughter Lilly; honorary grandsons Aaron and Caleb; brother David Emert and wife Denise of Kaneohe, HI; sisters Janet Biczak and husband Tom of Standish, ME and Wendy Detweiler and husband Rick of Perkasie. He was eagerly anticipating the arrival of his newest granddaughter, Cambrea Joleen, who is due in January. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Margaret Davis of Sellersville; sisters-in-law Margaret Burns and husband George of Croydon, Donna Fitzpatrick and husband Ed of Horsham, and Bridget Buckley and husband Steve of Quakertown; and by his nieces and nephews who all loved him dearly. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Mon., Nov. 7th at Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Rd., Quakertown. Visitations will be held from 1-4pm on Sun., Nov. 6th and from 10-11am on Mon., Nov. 7th, all at the funeral home. Interment will be at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hilltown. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Bob's memory to the Grand View Health Foundation, 700 Lawn Ave., Sellersville, PA 18960.
