Robert Davis

Robert Weldon Davis, Jr., 85, of Perkasie, died Sat. Feb. 9 in Quakertown Center. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Robert W. Sr. and Alberta (Juliff) Davis. Bob was a truck driver for more than 30 years having driven for Lehigh Valley Dairies and Miller & Son Paving, Warminster. An avid outdoorsman who enjoyed maintaining his property, Bob loved chopping wood, giving his grandkids rides on his tractor, tinkering around his home & with his cars. Bob also took tremendous pride in keeping his cars clean but most of all, he loved his family. Surviving are; daughters; Jamie Dierolf, husband Brian of Perkasie, Nancy Rufe, husband Bob of Hilltown, Bobbi Dorsi husband Dennis of Perkasie, Rebecca Davis of Perkasie, and Brenda Linke of Sellersville. Sons; Joseph Davis, wife Cynthia of Perkasie, William Davis, companion Debra of Perkasie, Thomas Davis, wife Cynthia of Ft. Myers, FL, and James Davis of Spring Hill, FL. Sister; Alberta Hess, husband Robert of Huntington Valley, 17 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Robert "Buddy" Davis III. Services will be private.
