Richard Slifer

Richard Slifer, 51, of Quakertown, PA passed away surrounded by the love of his family on May 7, 2021 at St. Luke's University Hospital Bethlehem in Bethlehem, PA. Richard was born on March 4, 1970 to Earl and Sarah Slifer of Quakertown, PA. Richard was well known for his compassion and his willingness to do anything for anyone, but his biggest accomplishment was the birth of his only son, Zackery. Anyone who knew Richard knew that he loved his son and his family with every part of his being. If you needed help, Richard would do what he could to help. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Richard was predeceased by his mother, Sarah Minnie (Hager) Slifer and his father Earl Leon Slifer. He is leaving behind his son Zackery (Victoria Martin) Slifer, sister Peggy (Mike) Skeleton, brother Earl (Deb) Slifer, sister Ella (Ray) Coffey, nieces Chasity (Isaac) Strawder, Desirae (Nate) Onnen, Krystl Slifer, Madison Coffey, nephew Mikey Skeleton, 9 great nieces and nephews and 2 great-great nieces. While we mourn the loss of our father, brother and loved one, we encourage all who knew him to remember the charm he brought to this world! A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
