Richard H. Gieseke Sr., 67, of Quakertown died Thurs., Sept. 16 in Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest. He was the beloved husband of Ann (Mastrangelo) Gieseke. They celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary in June. Born in Quakertown, he was the son of the late Harry E. and Vera (Ross) Gieseke. Richard graduated from Quakertown Community High School in 1960. He served with the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Applebachsville, Wallace Willard Keller Legion Post 242, Quakertown and Springtown Rod & Gun Club. He was a fork truck operator for 29 years at Merck & Co., West Point, PA before retiring in 1994. Surviving with his wife, son, Richard H. Jr. and wife Victoria of Pottstown; daughters, Vicki Roeder and husband Tom of Quakertown; Barbara Graser and husband Karl of Perkasie; Sharon Coons and husband Robert of Texas; five grandchildren; sister, Jacqueline Gieseke of Perkasie, Florence Dollman, Marianne Stockle and husband Bob all of Quakertown. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, Sept. 21, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 837 Old Bethlehem Rd., Quakertown. Call: 9:30-11:00 am Tuesday in the church. Jeffrey A.
