Richard L. Castor, 92, of Quakertown, formerly of Morgan Mill, TX and Phoenix, AZ, passed away Thurs. July 4, in Quakertown. He was the husband of the late Martha Pauline (Smith) Castor. Born in Polk, OH, he was the son of the late Leland and Della May (Markle) Castor. He served in the US Army during WWII. Richard worked as a brazing technician in the air research industry for many years before retiring. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Applebachsville, Arizona Lodge #2, F.&A.M., Arizona Research Lodge #1, Scottish Rite, & El Zaribah Shrine, all of Phoenix, AZ and Harmony Lodge # 592, Morgan Mill, TX where he served many years as Worshipful Master. Surviving, son Keith L., wife Janet, Lorain, OH; daughters, Nancy DePue, husband Henry, Quakertown, and Carol O'Brien, husband Gerry, Springtown, TX; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by son, Thomas W. A memorial service will be Sat. July 13 at 11:00 am in the St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Applebachsville. Interment to follow in church cemetery.
