Raymond E. Krewson, 87, of Quakertown, died Tues., Feb. 7, at Phoebe Richland Health Care, Richlandtown. He was the beloved husband of Dolores (Rothmund) Krewson for 31 years. Born in Doylestown, he was a son of the late George and Esther (Harvison) Krewson. Ray was a heat treater for J.W. Rex Co. in Lansdale for 36 years. He was also a veteran of the Korean War, and was active with the American Legion and was a life member of the Forrest Lodge VFW Post 245 in Sellersville, where he served twice as commander. With his wife, he is survived by sons Karl Krewson and Tom Garey; daughters Joanne Snyder, Brenda Belac, and Kathleen Moyer; ten grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by a daughter, Linda. A service will be held 10:00 AM on Fri., Feb. 10th, at Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Rd., Quakertown. A calling hour will precede the service from 9:00-10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment in Newtown Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Ray's memory to Phoebe Richland Health Care Center, 108 S. Main St., Richlandtown, PA 18955.
