R. Lee Benninger, 82 of Quakertown died Saturday, February 25 in his home. He was the loving husband of Anna (Levy) Benninger to whom he was married for almost 44 years He was employed by US Gauge, Div Of Ametek, Inc., for over 43 years before retiring. He was a member of Local 1092 I.A.M & A.W. Born in Bath, he was the son of the late Norman and Lucy (Schmidt) Buehler Mr. Benninger was a life member, past president, engineer & line officer of West End Fire Co., # 2, Quakertown, a member of Quakertown Hunting Club, Great Swamp Fish & Game, Buc-Le Aero Sportsman Club and a life member Quakertown Moose Lodge Surviving with his wife: sons: Barry L., wife Judy Ann, Jerry A., wife Debbie all of Quakertown; daughters: Debra J. Youtz of Perkasie, Karen L. Arnold, husband Matthew of Oxford, Lori Henry, husband Bill of Quakertown: 9 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.
