Randall Anthony Zitta, 64, son of the late Anthony & Irene Zitta of Spinnerstown, passed away Monday evening, Sept. 12 at the University of PA Hospital after a long illness. After graduating from Lambuth College in Jackson, TN, Randy enjoyed 20 years as a dedicated teacher of world cultures and civics at Quakertown Senior High School and obtained his master's degree in education from Kutztown University. He was currently the sole proprietor of Zitta's Clocks and Watches, Spinnerstown, an establishment that has been in the family for 66 years. Randy was a devoted and loving husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. Surviving with his wife Maureen Farren Zitta, son, Adam Joseph Zitta, fiancée Lynn Marie Detwiler of Williamsport; son, Anthony Michael Zitta; sister, LuAnn Long, husband Bob of Kansas City and other cherished family members and friends. Randy's greatest pleasures included vacationing with family, teaching his sons life's lessons, celebrating significant events with family, lunching with friends and "fixing up" whatever was in need of repair.
