Ralph Henry Massey, of Quakertown, went home to eternally rest in the arms of Jesus on August 24, 2012 in Genesis HealthCare, Quakertown Center, surrounded by his loving family. He was 91 years old. Ralph was the son of the late Jeannette Roberts Corum. He was born in Wolmelsdorf, Berks County, on November 20, 1920, His mother and extended family moved to Bucks County when he was young, and that is where he was raised and attended school. He was a World War II veteran, having served his country in England, Germany and France. After being discharged from the Army he was employed at a broom factory in Hatfield for a short time and then became an employee of Bethlehem Steel, from where he retired after forty years. Ralph will be remembered by his love for the Lord which was instilled in him as a young boy on his mother's knee. He is known to have shared that love with everyone he met. His joy in life was helping those who were less fortunate. He loved reading and studying the Bible, and was a Sunday school teacher at Grace United Methodist Church in Pen Argyl for many years. He was a member of Quakertown Baptist Church for the past twenty-five years. Ralph is survived by his loving daughter, Barbara Massey, Philadelphia; his sisters: Helen Massey, Nazareth and Jacqueline Holliday, Quakertown. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and a host of extended family members. Services will be held on Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at 11 AM in Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Road, Quakertown. Call: 10-11 AM Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment in Quakertown Union Cemetery.
