Phyllis J. Pickering, 83, of 11 E. Station Ave, Coopersburg, PA, passed away quietly Nov 25, in her sleep. Born in Lima, OH, she was the daughter of the late Guy and Esther (Sandy) Baxter. She was married to the late Harold E. Pickering for 54 years. Phyllis enjoyed reading, needlework, sewing, and baking. She was a dedicated housewife and the loving mother of seven children. Phyllis was a member of the Springfield Church of the Brethren. Survivors: Sons- John, Robert and wife Kathy, Ronald and wife Clarissa, Paul and wife Diane. Daughters - Cindy (Phoenix, AZ), Marie wife of Paul Helinsky, and Naomi, wife of Robert Yeager. Grandchildren- Owen and Spencer Yeager; Elizabeth and Timothy Pickering. Sisters- Mary Bowers (Louisville, KY) and Martha Weaver (Pinehurst, NC). She was pre-deceased by brother Robert Baxter (Lima, OH).
