Pearl L. Ogden, 86, died Mon., Mar. 20, 2017 at Valley Manor Nursing & Rehab. Center, Coopersburg. Born in Pleasant Valley, she was a daughter of the late Robert W.G. and Mildred (Mindler) Koehler. Pearl was employed with the former Allegheny Ribbon Mill in Quakertown for 48 years, retiring in 1995. She was a long-time member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Quakertown. Surviving is her daughter, Sharon Swartley, husband Glenn, of Quakertown; grandchildren: Jennifer, Kristy, Rebecca and Jacob; great-grandchildren: Jonathan, Braden, Tyler, Preston, Brynlee and Bryce; siblings: Robert Koehler, Richard Koehler, Janet Seip, husband Paul, all of Quakertown and Nancy Bickley, husband John, of Pennsburg; and a brother-in-law, Frank Deibert. She was predeceased by a son, James B. Ogden; brothers: Montford and Kenneth Koehler; and a sister, Kathryn Deibert. Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tue., Mar. 28 in St. John's Lutheran Church, 19 S. 10th St., Quakertown. A visitation hour will precede the service from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Interment in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Pleasant Valley.
