Pauline K. Yoder, 92, of Lancaster, formerly of Quakertown, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2018 at the Mennonite Home in Lancaster. Born on August 24, 1925 in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late W. Norman and S. Viola (Longacre) Gehman. She was the wife of the late David S. Yoder who passed away in 2006. She was a member of Swamp Mennonite Church, Quakertown, PA. Pauline worked as a bookkeeper for Charles Bell Co. for 30 years and worked at Moyers Chicks for 17 years before retiring in 1991 and then moving to Lancaster in 1995. She enjoyed going to Panera Bread for coffee, baking Christmas cookies, and cooking meals for family and friends. She is survived by a son, Dale W. Yoder and wife Audrey of Mt. Joy; a daughter, Karen wife of John Gyger of Lancaster; two brothers, Robert Gehman, wife Addie of Coopersburg and Henry Gehman, wife Jane of Sellersville; four grandchildren: Julie Hasircoglu, Mitchell Gyger, Jaclyn Gyger, and Melanie Yoder and two great-granddaughters: Olivia and Violet Hasircoglu. She was predeceased by a sister Grace Bertsch, brothers David Gehman and James Gehman, and a great granddaughter Charlotte Hasircoglu. Funeral service will be held Thursday, June 14, 11:00 am at Swamp Mennonite Church, 2125 Rosedale Rd., Quakertown. A calling hour from 10-11 am will precede the service in the church. Interment to follow the service in Swamp Mennonite Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mennonite Central Committee, P.O. Box 500; Akron, PA 17501.
