Paul C. Neubert, 84, of Quakertown died Tues., Feb. 11 in his home. He was the husband of Carol (Afflerbach) Neubert, celebrating 56 years of marriage last Sept. He worked as a plumber for over 35 years retiring from Willie's Plumbing, Quakertown in 2005. Previously, he was employed by the former Wolfinger Plumbing, Quakertown and the borough of Quakertown. Paul was an active member for 56 years of West End Fire Co., Quakertown where he served as an officer for 42 consecutive years, including company fire chief a number of years and as Chief of the Quakertown Fire Dept. 1971-1978. He had served as a Bucks County Deputy Fire Marshall a number of years and was a member of the Bucks County Fire Chiefs Assoc. He served with the US Army during the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion Post 242, Quakertown. Surviving with his wife, daughters Kim M. Smith, husband Michael, Quakertown, Tammy Mirra, husband Tony, Center Valley, and Wendy Winters, Richlandtown; brother Charles "Reds", wife Lois, ; sister Mae Seibert, all of Quakertown, grandchildren Jeremy, Brian, Kyle, Kevin, Larissa, Josh, Taylor, Dylan, Jessie, Danny; ten great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by grandson, Matthew and siblings Walt, Joan, and infant Raymond. Funeral services will be held Tues. Feb. 18, 7:30 PM in the Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Rd., Quakertown. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home Tues. 5:30 - 7:30 PM. Interment Quakertown Union Cemetery.
