Paul Drissel

Paul H. Drissel, Jr, 56, of Coopersburg, passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at St. Luke's Hospital, Upper Bucks Campus.  Born September 13, 1965, he was the son of Shirley (Strohl) Drissel and the late Paul Drissel, Sr.

He graduated from Southern Lehigh Highschool in 1983. He also was a Sheet Metal Mechanic with Elkay Manufacturing, Sellersville for over 30 years.  Paul was a member of Hosensack EC Church, Zionsville, PA, a social member of the Sellersville Legion, and a long-time member of 4H and FFA.

He enjoyed taking part in his children’s activities throughout the years, which included being a swimming official, and girl’s soccer coach for the Harleysville Hurricanes. In his spare time, he enjoyed being outdoors, which included hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, and snowboarding.  He also loved working on classic cars and even at one point in time was a member of a pit crew, at Dorney Park Speedway, working on a stock car. Watching NASCAR and the Philly sports teams was something he also greatly enjoyed with friends and family.

You could always find Paul with a big smile on his face and he always could work his magic to put a smile on the faces of everyone around him. He always would put in a lot of effort to bring joy and happiness to his friends and family, even if it meant being the silliest one in the room. His family was his greatest treasure. Paul had a very large heart and would always go out of his way to help anyone in need, even giving up the shirt off his back if needed.

Paul is survived by his children, Garrett Paul Drissel (son), and Hailey Drissel (daughter), brothers, Russell Drissel (Susan) and Larry Drissel (Krista), grandchildren, Kylee Drissel, Alyana Drissel, and Anthony Peden, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephew, and former wife of over 30 years, Tina Drissel.

A celebration of Pauly’s life will be held at Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service  Saturday, January 8th at 10:00 AM, a visitation will be held from 9-10, prior to the service.  In In lieu of flowers, those desiring may send contributions in Paul’s name to the Michael J.
