Oscar P. Frei, 95, of Sellersville, formerly of Spinnerstown, died Fri. July 4th at Rockhill Mennonite Community. He was the husband of Arlene (Rosenberger) Frei for 61 years. He was a farmer and also worked at Perkasie Vulcanizing for many years prior to his retirement. Born in Haycock Twp., he was a son of the late Martin and Magdalena (Widmer) Frei. He was a member of United Mennonite Church, Quakertown where he served as a deacon, Sunday School teacher, and on the cemetery committee. He served on the Eastern District Conference, Men-O-Lan board, and the former Keller's Church Grange as a master and chaplain for many years. Surviving with his wife are sons, Timothy, wife Jayne, of Ahoskie, NC, and Steven, wife Judy, of Bath; daughter, Judy Godshall, husband Kevin, of Quakertown; Grandchildren, Todd, Alison, Mollee, Jeffrey, Laura, Amy, David, Wendy, and Greg; Great Grandson, Cole; Brother, Alfred Frei, wife Ruth. He was predeceased by brothers, John, William, and Herman, and sisters, Helena Milz and Eleanore Frei. Services will be held 7:00 PM Thurs, July 10th at United Mennonite Church, 180 Thatcher Rd., Quakertown. Call: 6-7:00 PM at the church.
