Olive Madeline Shaffer, 92, died Sunday May 19, 2013 in St. Luke's Hospital, Anderson Campus, Easton. She was the wife of the late Isaac D. Shaffer who she met when she was 15. Born April 1, 1921 in the Whitehorse Hotel, Sellersville, she was the daughter of the late James Herbert and Edna Mamie (Yost) Kehs. Olive was a seamstress for more than 40 years retiring in 1980. She was a member of the I.L.G.W.U., The Autumn Club and the Senior Drop In Club both of Bethlehem Twp. She was an avid Bingo player. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, gardening, baking and cooking. Surviving; daughter Karen E. Witt, husband George of Bethlehem, brothers; Richard, Howard, Myles, and Donald, sister; Betty Wampole, grandchildren; Lydia Osner, husband Noah, Jarrett Witt, wife Adrianne, great-grandchildren; Alanna Linda Witt and Amelia Mae Osner. She was pre-deceased by brother James and a sister Gladys Oyster. Services will be held Friday May 24 at 2:30 pm in the Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W.
