Norma K. Roeder, 75, of Quakertown died from natural causes on Sun., Nov. 28th at Clare Bridge of Montgomery. She was married to the late Gordon S. Roeder Sr. of Quakertown for 49 years. Born in Quakertown, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Bachman) Smith. Mrs. Roeder graduated from Quakertown High School with the class of 1953. She spent her early years as a homemaker and raising her five children. She helped establish Little Red Barn Campground in 1969 with her husband. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, gardening and crafts in her leisure time. She was a lifetime member of the First United Church of Christ of Quakertown. She is survived by a sister Gloria Snyder and husband Wayne of Lansdale, PA and brother James Smith of Sacramento, CA. She is also survived by her children, Robin Purcell and husband Christopher of Perkasie, PA, Dr. Gordon Roeder and wife Michelle of Quakertown, PA, Lori Erb of Quakertown, PA, James Roeder and wife Bernadette of Easton, PA., Thomas Roeder and wife Vicki of Quakertown, PA and 10 grandchildren. Services are being held on Wed, Dec. 1st at Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Road, Quakertown at 11:00 AM. Call: 10:00-11:00 am Wed. in the funeral home.
