Neal S. Brunner, 82, of Quakertown, previously of Richland (Lebanon County) passed away on Sunday, May 12 at his home. He was the loving husband of Irene (Fox) Brunner for 60 years. Born in Richland, he was the son of the late Mark and Mabel (Smaltz) Brunner. Neal graduated Newmanstown High School (currently ELCO High School). He worked at Associated Wholesale Incorporated in Robesonia, PA for 25 years. He was a member of Richland Church of The Brethren in Richland, PA. Neal was a kind, hardworking individual. His labor of love included taking care of children with disabilities with his wife Irene. He and his wife also took care of the elderly and would host birthday meals at their home for these individuals. Neal taught Sunday school and coached baseball. He was a lover of sports and the wildlife. He always had a ball cap and sunglasses on. He loved to spend time with his family and go to the park just across the street from their home. Surviving along with his wife Irene are children: Cheryl Brunner, of Quakertown, Steve, wife Nancy of Ephrata, PA, Ted, wife Wanda, of Quakertown, Rashine Brunner of Fredericksburg, PA and Sherone Bryan, fiance Jeremiah Ryer of Whitehall; grandchildren: Ben and his wife Kate, Chase and his wife Emily, Karen, Seth, Gabrielle, Stone, Asher, Bayne, Caige, Auryia, Jeremiah, and great-grandson: Judah Chase Brunner. He was predeceased by daughter: Karen Marie Brunner. Services are to be private at request of the family.
