Nathaniel Rocque

Nathaniel Maurice Rocque, of Quakertown, Pa. aged 25 years passed away due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Thursday, September 27th, 2012. Born in Bristol, Pa. at Lower Bucks Hospital, Nate was raised in Trumbauersville, then Quakertown in Bucks County. He is a graduate of the class of 2005 from Quakertown High School after which he briefly attended Gwynedd-Mercy College. He received his Associate's Degree in Information Technology, graduating with honors from ITT Technical Institute in Valley Forge, PA. in 2008. From 2003 to 2008, Nate was a volunteer firefighter for West End Fire Company of Quakertown Fire Department. A true patriot, Nate was employed by the U.S. Department of State soon after graduation from ITT. In his tenure at State, Nate was assigned to posts in Addis Abba, Ethiopia; Seoul, South Korea; Dakar, Senegal; Niamey, Niger; 2 separate occasions to Kabul, Afghanistan; and most recently Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Nate was a shining light in the world, he made true friends everywhere he traveled. Known for his high energy, bright smile and quick wit, he tried every day to help everyone he met. He was one of those unique people who achieved great things through hard work while always making life feel like fun and play. Nate is survived by his parents, Marc and Rose Rocque, and his sister Felicia Rocque of Quakertown, Pa., his paternal grandparents, John and Marie Rocque of Levittown, Pa. and maternal grandmother, Jean Nowak of Philadelphia, Pa., as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins, and countless friends from around the world. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and visitation from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday evening October 4th and 10 to 11 a.m. Friday October 5th in the Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W.
